If you have been researching body cleanse your know that this is one of the most effective and powerful ways to improving your health. You have also found that the colon cleansing is the most popular and most highly recommended program of cleansing. This is perfectly logical because our colon should be eliminating two to three pounds of waste per day.

A whole body cleanse goes much further and does a lot more for your system than the colon cleanse. A good cleanse will clean the three major organs that do the detoxification of our bodies – the colon, kidneys and liver. Of course, the colon is of importance because of the waste it eliminates. The kidneys purify the liquids we ingest and the liver must process and remove the toxic pollutants in our body. You can see from these functions that if each system is cleansed and is functioning properly we will be feeling much better and have an improved and healthy body.
Each of these organs is best detoxed in a more thorough manner by using a combination of dietary changes, herbal supplements, and exercise. Dietary changes we need to implement include eliminating processed food as much as possible, junk food, dairy products, and meat. We also need to eat fresh fruits and vegetables every day.
An exercise program does not have to be elaborate as if you are preparing for a marathon event. It can be very simple but needs to involve a brisk walk for fifteen minutes every day.
Herbal supplements need to be used to make sure each organ gets the nutritional support it needs to rebuild itself. The herbal supplements should be in the right amount and in the right combination because this would assure you of getting the best results in a body cleanse.
In addition to the internal organs a body cleanse should also include a cleansing for the largest organ of the body—the skin. This cleansing can best be done by use of skin brushing and sauna or steam baths.
There are things you need to do to assure the success of a body cleanse. Some might call these three secrets to successful body cleansing.
Make sure you follow a cleansing diet regardless of the program you select. If you want to get the best results, you need to follow the diet above.
You must be persistent. Your body did not get filled with toxins overnight and it will not be cleansed over night. It will take time. Do not give up. It may take more than one cleansing to see major changes. Most professionals recommend at least 2 body cleanses a year.
Find a program that cleanses the whole body and not just the colon.

Headaches, nausea, skin rashes, indigestion, diarrhea, constipation, and fatigue are all symptoms of a build up of toxins in our body. There are so many toxins in our every day life that it is virtually impossible to completely avoid all of them and protect yourself completely. A body cleanse will help your body get rid of those that have been trapped and stored in the cells of your body but you will want to do as much as you can to protect yourself everyday.
Many of the pollutants that become trapped in our body come from the very air we breathe. Car exhaust fumes, smog, paint fumes, perfumes, cleaning products all contribute pollutants to the air we breathe. You can control the use of cleaning product, burning of candles and other sources that contribute to pollution within your own home but when you go out the front door of your house you do not have much control over the air that surrounds you. Because of the lack of control on the pollutants in your environment it is a good idea to do a periodic body cleanse to rid your body of those toxins, which become trapped in your system from the air, you ingest everyday.
We each must have a certain amount of food to keep our bodies functioning properly. However, the very food that our body requires is also a source of toxins that we ingest. The water we drink is absolutely necessary to keep our bodies functioning and yet it too is a source of pollutants. Chlorine is used to clean our drinking water of bacteria but when we drink the water, we are filling our body with chlorine and other chemicals that are used to purify the water and keep it clean. The water passes through pipes, which means you may be getting small amounts of rust or other metals in your drinking water. These also can be hazardous if they build up in your body. A body cleanse will remove these from your system.
The food we eat contains a lot of chemicals to preserve them. Fertilizer is used to make fruits and vegetables grow faster and more abundantly, and animals are fed hormones to make them grow fatter faster. All of these chemicals remain in the food and when we eat the food, we ingest the toxins. Over a period of time, these toxins get stored in our cells and once there is a large enough accumulation, we develop problems. A body cleanse will rid your body of the build up of toxins from the food you eat.
A body cleanse will assist in eliminating pollutants from your body and restoring it to its peak performance. In order to keep your system at its peak level you need to do a body cleanse at least twice a year. This will keep your body at its best and you will be rewarded with much improved health and ease you of the symptoms you have experienced in the past.

Many individuals always ask the question, “Why do I need a body cleanse?” The answer to the question is because of the benefits you will receive. What are those benefits? A cleansing will help your body get rid of the harmful toxins that have collected in your body. Your body takes toxin in everyday from the environment and they collect in the tissues and cells. A good cleanse will also aid with digestion of food. It also will help with the periodic constipation we get and will help keep the intestinal system cleaned out. It will also help get you started on your diet or help if you are in a weight loss program and have come to a standstill. It will help the body get in shape faster after we have overindulged in food or alcohol after a night of partying.
A body cleanse will produce better results if one uses a program that utilizes herbs and supplements to go along with the natural detoxification of your body.
Where do all these toxins in my body come from? They have a variety of sources. May of these we ingest every day from our environment.
Fruits and vegetables we purchase in the market sometimes are exposed to fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides. Many cattle growers use hormones to fatten the cattle for market. Fossil fuel is a major source of pollution. Chemicals get dumped in our water supply.
Our lifestyle contributes a fair share of pollutants. Eating a lot of fried foods, fatty foods, or sugar. Often we party too much. Our foods, which we buy, have been processed and this introduces toxins also, especially if the food is over processed. Not eating enough fresh fruits and vegetables contributes to an increase of toxins. Not drinking enough water also contributes.
These toxins collect in our body and can affect our organs, blood, and intestinal well-being. A body cleanse will remove these toxins from your system.
Our bodies do natural detoxification on its own but sometimes it calls for a little help. The liver is the main organ for cleansing our bodies naturally. It sends the chemicals to the bowel for elimination from your system. The digestive system does its part to help detoxify your system. If your body has accumulated too many toxins and they begin to affect your liver and other organs then the toxins do not get eliminated from your system. They then begin to affect your entire body and begin to slow your metabolism. You may suffer from fatigue and possibly a weak immune system.
To do a body cleanse, look for a program that is complete with fiber to get a complete detoxification and make sure it is convenient and one that you do not have to repeat often. Make sure it does not use any stimulants that may cause a dependency and make sure it gives herbal support.

There are several different body cleanse methods one can use to do internal cleaning of the body. One of the most important of these is the colon cleanse. Having a properly functioning colon is essential to maintaining good health. A colon cleanse cleans the toxins that have collected in your colon. These toxins will cause you to have irregular bowel movements. To maintain the most optimal health conditions you should have at least one bowel movement each day. Having irregular bowel movements can cause an irritable bowel and stomach disorders

One of the best methods to ensure your colon is cleansed and functioning properly is to maintain a good diet. Foods that contain processed sugar, white flour, and meat are harmful to the body and create an excessive amount of pollutants that collect in your body. Eating these foods may cause harm to your body by causing the colon to not perform its function. A malfunctioning colon may cause skin rashes and allergies. Doing a body cleanse via the colon will lessen the impact of your allergies.
Doing a body cleanse, especially a colon cleanse, allows the colon to rebuild itself and assists the colon in functioning properly. By maintaining the colon and doing a colon cleanse regularly improves your digestive system and helps both body and mind.
The best method to detoxify or cleanse your body is to have a well-balanced lifestyle. You can begin by changing the foods you eat. Eat plenty of raw fruits and vegetables every day. Avoid fried food as much as possible. Improving your diet will also improve your digestive system and you will have a natural detoxification of your body on a regular basis.
A customary colon-cleansing program involves fasting, raw fruits and vegetables, juices, herbal laxatives and teas. It will also involve colon cleansing herbs, and herbs to rebuild the colon flora after the cleanse has been completed.
Detoxification or body cleanse involves getting rid of the toxins that have collected in various tissues, cells and organs of the body especially in the colon. Detoxification also involves clearing congestion and mucous from the body. Most of these pollutants grow and multiply because of exposure to pollutants we ingest from our environment, diet, or excessive drug and prescriptive medications we take.
A body cleanse consists of lifestyle and eating habits being changed. We must take in fewer toxins in order to assure we have a properly functioning elimination process. We need to avoid caffeine, sugar, various drugs, and medicines that increase toxins in the body, alcohol, and tobacco. These changes will have a positive effect on our health and helps us in making decisions about the foods we eat. They will also help our bodies do a natural body cleanse.
